Job description
The Pearl Health Center is seeking a full-time data entry specialist. This position is responsible for ensuring all patient data is up to date in their patient account including all current demographic information, past medical records, lab and imaging results, and screening documents. The data entry specialist will also help other team members complete bi-yearly metric reporting, assist with medical record requests, data entry for current and upcoming research, and act as backup support to reception.
Successful applicants will have strong communication skills, are detail oriented, has excellent phone skills, and has previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferabbly in patient registration.
Requirements:
· Data Entry skills
· experience in a healthcare or patient registration preferred
· problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team setting
· Ability to effectively use, or learn, all relevant computer software including the EMR, MS Office products, and google documents.
