This Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist will have the opportunity to lead a tight knit, and highly skilled team at a reputable, 250+ patient bed hospital. This Level II Trauma Center has earned a number of impressive awards at both the local and national level as seen with their 2022 Leapfrog Hospital Safety A Score, their 2022 College of American Pathologists Accreditation, their Baby Friendly Accreditation by World Health Organization, and their prestigious Magnet Designation.

At this 250+ patient bed medical center, the Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist will facilitate and coordinate complex performance improvement projects and cross train in all Quality Department functional areas in order to build stability and standardization. The Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist will provide expertise in the areas of quality improvement, patient safety, risk, and utilization, accreditation.

Knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, Performance Improvement initiatives, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certification, and/or California RN Licensure is a huge plus for the Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist. Further responsibilities in this role include collaboration with other healthcare experts to aid in developing training, regulatory, readiness, survey support, and excellence standards.
