SUMMARY:
Responsible for the coordination and implementation of educational and clinical initiatives that supports burn business objectives for assigned accounts and/or geographies. Works in collaboration with Clinical Business Manager (CBM), Burn Regional Business Managers (RBM), Burn Medical Education Manager, and Advanced Wound Management (AWM),to ensure a coordinated effort in meeting sales and clinical education objectives. The CRS utilizes experience to build relationships with key clinical and economic decision makers to drive adoption of focus products and influence sales, with emphasis on The CRS works with the cross-functional teams to deliver Smith+Nephew (S+N) branded programs, to provide customer facing clinical resources, and product based clinical education. The CRS acts within the scope of corporate objectives and policies to accomplish goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with RBMs to develop business plans, clinical/educational strategies, and to manage product validations and implementations in assigned target accounts.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of references for clinical research and evidence that supports key marketing messages.
- Maintains comprehensive product knowledge of focus brands.
- Acts as an educational and clinical resource for the advanced wound care portfolio in target accounts as well as with AWM colleagues.
- Provides formal presentations to a variety of audiences/venues (corporate, sales, marketing, physicians, high level decision makers)
- Participates with initial training, as well as educational partnership plan and on-going product in-services of acute care and post-acute markets as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse, or relevant clinical background with licensure required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, or related clinical field strongly preferred. Wound care certification preferred.
- Experience in the acute care burn setting 3-5 years minimum
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both large and small group settings.
- Must be able to travel up to 80% and may include overnight and/or weekends
