Job description

Anastasi Counseling Services is seeking a part-time or full-time clinical therapist. We are a well-established, private clinic with 30+ year’s involvement in the North Iowa Area that provides services for mental health, substance use, marriage and family, and adolescent therapy.

Anastasi Counseling Services handles billing, scheduling, credentialing, and marketing. Those in need of supervision towards an Iowa license are encouraged to apply as supervision can be provided. Anastasi will also provide financial assistance towards professional license, continuing education, and professional development.

Required License: One of the following state of Iowa license in good standing with the behavioral health board.

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
• Temporary-Licensed Mental Health Counselor (t-LMHC)

Required Skills:

• Ability to work independently and adhere to individual schedules
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Possess personal integrity and responsibility per HIPPA guidelines
• Solid relationship-building with clients of a diverse background
• A positive and compassionate attitude
• Attentive to details

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an independent caseload and establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
• Complete detailed treatment planning
• Provide in-person and/or telehealth counseling to a wide variety of clients, depending on clients’ needs
• Work independently within a supportive network
• Submit therapeutic notes in a timely manner
• When required, refer clients to outside resources that can better address their specific needs
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA/42-CFR
• Maintain all required licenses or certifications

Salary: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
