Our Syracuse, NY laboratory is looking for a Cloud Computer Technician to join their team Smart Sense team!
The technician:
- Calibrates sensor and rental equipment to client specifications.
- Checks-in returned equipment.
- Satisfies all daily prep requests including QC of requests.
- Provides total client responsiveness.
- Responsible for listening to client in order to have a full understanding of any conversation that takes place and then being able to document any conversations with client.
- Responsible for being 100% thorough when coming in contact with client whether it be verbally, in writing.
- Responsible for continually looking for ways to improve processes.
- Attends data integrity training and signs off acknowledging understanding and responsibility therein.
- Keeps their safety and the safety or others, as #1 priority at all times – Safety is Paramount; completes all safety training on time and follows all safety protocols consistently
- Ensures cleanliness of work area, instruments and supplies.
- Responsible for the timely response to all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests.
- Follows all guidelines for acceptable quality control, investigates quality control failures and rectifies problems and brings any discrepancies to their supervisor’s attention.
- Review, schedule and prioritize workload, perform preventive maintenance and monitor instrument capability, ensure that all QC procedures are followed and that they meet necessary criteria.
- Operates within the guiding principles of the company.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED and 0-2 years general business experience (Required)
- Electrician, information technology or computer science background/interest (Strongly Preferred)
- Associates degree or higher level education (Preferred)
- High level of attention to detail (Required)
- Active listening skills (Required)
- Strong team player with a production-oriented and strong customer service mindset (Required)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills (Required)
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull upwards of 30 lbs on a frequent basis (Required)
