WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer (GCP) who will be responsible for designing and building a big data platform that will keep user data secure, scale efficiently based on business needs, and significantly improve the user's experience with our products. You will also work on efficient software implementations on current and/or upcoming product platforms. The Big Data Lab is a key part of our global R&D effort and aims to help companies operate more efficiently and adapt to changing needs of customers to solve most critical business problems and have direct impact on future products reaching hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Configure Google Cloud (GCP) network and firewall based on security requirements.
• Manage GCP IAM roles and implement security policies, for both human accounts and service account.
• Manage BigQuery including resource planning, column/row-based security, partition tables, etc.
• Provision and configure essential GCP services like Spark, KMS, RDBMS, etc.
• Communicate with HQ effectively to get work done.

Required Experience and Education:

• 1+ years of experience of managing cloud services, particularly GCP; a GCP certification is a big plus but not a requirement.
• College Degree required.
• Good understanding of fundamentals including network, security, IAM, data processing, etc.

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
• A strong sense of ownership; get things done quickly with quality.
• Good communication skills, especially with HQ Korea; knowing Korean language is a big plus but not a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
