2nd and 3rd shift Machine Operator, Machinist and Setup Technician positions are available.

We have hired and successfully trained people through our paid N.E.W. University training program that were chefs, carpenters, construction workers, mechanics, landscapers, servers, farmers, artists, assemblers, musicians, grocery store workers, etc.
You will be taught about the CNC machines, inspection techniques using a variety of measurement and machine tools, blueprint reading, safety procedures and lean methods.
2nd shift = Now offering a 4-day a week schedule on 2nd shift with hours from 2:00 p.m. to midnight - Monday through Thursday.
3rd shift = $3.00 shift premium for 3rd shift which works Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Enjoy hobbies in the daytime or over a long weekend. Balance child care with the night shift. Be on a quieter/less hectic shift.

Here are your responsibilities:
- Operate either one Horizontal mill or two Turning Center lathes to produce metal parts.
- Perform quality and measurement checks to make certain that parts run efficiently and accurately.
- Make tool changes, offsets and resolve basic problems.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges and clean parts using buffers, belt sanders and rotary tools.
- Study manufacturing orders with blueprints, manufacturing drawing and tool sheets to verify they are correct and fill out proper paper work when changes are necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- Hard worker with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in a factory or fast paced environment is desirable.
- Aptitude to learn blueprint reading skills.
- Math skills to ensure an accurate count of parts and precise measurements.
- Attention to detail to do in-process inspection skills.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal standard operation and safety instructions.
- Aptitude to become proficient at using micrometers, dial bore gages, height gage, depth gages and dial indicators to indicate parts and verify dimensions of a work piece.
- Must be able to maintain tolerance and finishes to engineering specifications.
- Good attendance. Follow safety procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand a minimum of 9.5 hours a day.
- Must be capable of loading and unloading a machine with 5 to 40 parts per hour.
- Frequent twisting, reaching, grasping and bending to load a part every 2 to 5 minutes.
- Able to compress a foot pedal.
- Frequent grasping with both hands to lift parts, use pressurized air to clear out metal fragments, to deburr parts using a drill press, Dremel tool, buffing wheel or sander or to turn a wrench or vise handles.
- Ability to regularly lift 10 to 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 40 lbs. Hoists are available for lifting parts over 40 lbs. Must have the ability to use both hands.
- Ability to see blueprints, measuring tools and paperwork. Ability to write to complete paperwork. Ability to hear machine tooling and equipment.
- Ability to work overtime from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
