Collections Agent

Location: Houston, TX

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Requirements: Bilingual

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Schedule Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a rotating Saturday CST

We are seeking a highly motivated Collections Agent to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong work ethic. This position is in-office and requires the ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a rotating Saturday CST.

Responsibilities:

• Collect unpaid tolls and fees through various communication channels (phone, email, mail)
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints regarding toll charges
• Work with customers to establish payment plans and schedules
• Update customer accounts with accurate and current information
• Meet monthly and quarterly collection goals
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, customer service or a related field
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using a computer and related software applications
