Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Collibra Data Governance Analyst/Developer.

NYU Langone Health is seeking an experienced and self-motivated analyst/developer with a high degree of technical acumen and good understanding of data to develop and support data governance, data management and big data solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with users to analyze and document business requirements
  • Design technology solutions that meet business requirements
  • Create information models for solutions, business interactions and workflows, application, data flows, data integration, data structures and relationships ¿ Work with infrastructure, technical architecture and IT security teams to present solutions
  • Define and adopt standards and best practices in all areas of work
  • Develop applications and solutions using Collibra, Eclipse IDE, Mulesoft, AnyPoint Studio, SQL, Python, scripting languages and other technologies
  • Plan, design and execute software testing at all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Work with users to define user test scenarios and scripts, and coordinate testing with users ¿ Deploy technical solutions across multiple environments
  • Provide production support, including creating and reporting on support tickets, working with users to resolve issues and educate them, work closely with colleagues across the Medical Center Information Technology (MCIT) department to resolve user requests and support tickets
  • Use project management techniques to estimate work, define project milestones, communicate work status
  • Work solo or in diverse, multi-shore teams ¿ Lead other individuals and small teams
  • Share knowledge, create training material, train colleagues, users and others as needed
  • Produce high-quality documentation in all areas of work ¿ Assist in any other work matter as required

Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong development experience in each of the following: Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC), Eclipse IDE, BPMN workflows, Mulesoft and Mule applications, AnyPoint Studio, Python
  • Strong knowledge of SQL development and database concepts, and experience working with Oracle and other relational databases
  • Experience working in Unix environments and with scripting (e.g. BASH)
  • Experience with data and application integration, including data transformations and REST API
  • Excellent spoken and written communication; ability to interact positively with individuals at all levels
  • Self-starter with ability to work solo as well as with teams, build strong working relationships with others
  • Highly motivated with a forever-learning attitude and can-do approach

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate's Degree Computer Science or related field. 3 - 5 years In a Systems Analyst role. Strong communication (both oral and written), data reporting, detail orientation, organizational, analytical, customer service, and multitasking skills. Ability to be flexible when facing tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong development experience in each of the following: Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC), Eclipse IDE, BPMN workflows, Mulesoft and Mule applications, AnyPoint Studio, Python
Strong knowledge of SQL development and database concepts, and experience working with Oracle and other relational databases
Experience working in Unix environments and with scripting (e.g. BASH)
Experience with data and application integration, including data transformations and REST API
Excellent spoken and written communication; ability to interact positively with individuals at all levels

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $73,770.80 - $93,509.35 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
