Job description

We are seeking a Commissioned Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

Shifts Available at Deer Park:

• Wednesday thru Sunday- 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (Deer Park)

Pay:

• Pay will be determined by past experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and are secure
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards, abnormal smells or leaks
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

​Qualifications:

• 1 Year Previous experience in security required
• State of Texas Commissioned License Required
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Proper Secuity equipment required
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28,856.25 - $34,751.61 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekend availability

• Deer Park, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
