Position Summary
The Community Wellness Manager for the Pediatric Movement Center is responsible for the overall success of the Community Wellness Division, including the individual successes of its team members, as well as the overall goals of the Division as a whole. As with other management roles within PMC, the Community Wellness Manager is a dual-role position whose tasks and responsibilities are to be performed in conjunction with those of another role within the division. In the case of the Community Wellness Division, the Community Wellness Manager is most often paired with the Kid/Motion Instructor or Tech role.
Minimum Experience
Extensive training through the various Community Wellness programs and positions is required to perform this job. Effective written and oral communication skills are essential to this role. In addition, employees interested in a Community Wellness Manager role should have demonstrated quantities and characteristics of leadership.
The Hagerstown Wellness Manager will work under the guidance of Tillie Breakall, Director of Community Wellness. Duties will include, but are not limited to monitoring phone, email, EMR systems for staff and client inquiries and respond accordingly, resolve conflicts with clients and staff, ensure statistics are kept and reported, review and approve timecards and PTO requests, find coverage options, bill KidMotion clients, be present on weekends, meet weekly with employees assigned directly to the manager, and serve as a mentor and primary contact for new hires placed under the manager's supervision. Oversee the supervisors and the overall success of the KidMotion program (classes and special events), Physical Health and Wellness program, adaptive programs, Therapy technicians, lifeguards, staff child care.
Due to the nature of this position involving direct client contact, the schedule will be primarily worked on site at a PMC location, with flexible or remote work to be approved by the Director of Community Wellness.

Moderate physical effort, standing/walking, occasionally lifts supplies and/or equipment, occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching, manual dexterity and mobility.
