General Responsibilities:
In this field position, you will participate in on-site assessments of hospitals for compliance with New York State regulations on post-graduate trainee working hours and conditions. You will manage review activities by conducting surveillance activities, including interviewing program representatives and post-graduate trainees and completing medical record reviews. The Compliance Reviewer will review documents to identify compliance issues, communicate findings and enter data findings into the database.

- The salary for this position is $37 per hour.

- Full-time.
- Monday to Friday (9 AM-5:30 PM).
Requirements for Compliance Reviewer:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related (Healthcare, Public Policy, etc.) is required.
- Two (2) years of related experience as a healthcare compliance reviewer, are required.
- Would require travel to hospitals 75% downstate but some upstate with an overnight stay.
- In-depth knowledge of teaching hospitals.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal skills including phone manners.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office.
