TITLE : Connected Services Manager

DUTIES : Lead the internal team, suppliers and the Connected Services team. Manage the defects (head unit and vehicle electronics) and ensure a high quality for connectivity services. Maintain the defect management process for HU including all the various defect management systems. Track change requests with HU suppliers and manage the development timeline. Understand the development schedule with the supplier and distribute to the Connected Services Team. Assign to the team the unit test for all Applications/Feature and a qualification readiness status prior to every qualification event. Track the status of HU S/W releases and provide direction to the team on what S/W release is to be used qualification events and unit testing. Conduct meetings: Firmware Integration, Release Management, Defect Management meetings and War rooms. Support the development and approval of the design gate documents. Manage one-page report outs on status of Project post design gate.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related, and 8 years of experience in job offered or related position in automotive electrical engineering or connectivity. Alternatively, the employer will accept master's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related, and 6 years of experience in job offered or related position in automotive electrical engineering or connectivity. Experience must include: Automotive electrical development and design; Working with telematics connectivity; Developing automotive testing definitions; Automotive Autosar design and implementation; Android Application development and design; and Working with automotive Ethernet, SOA and ALM tools such as Jira.
