The Consulting Associate supports communications, program management, and meeting support, working with senior executives, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on a high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone with 2 years of experience relevant to consulting who is mission-focused, has great attention to detail, and continuously likes to improve how they deliver solutions to senior clients.

Arc Aspicio is currently working a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and, as approved, remotely on a part time basis. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment

Responsibilities

  • Work on client projects while contributing to meaningful contributions in project success in parallel with developing a consulting firm
  • Love to learn complex mission areas in homeland security such as emergency management, immigration, customs, and transportation security
  • Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple workstreams at one time
  • Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
  • Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
  • Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a project environment supporting the government
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Experience in consulting, program analysis, program management, governance, and/or meeting support
  • Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement (including senior-level leaders) and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Experience or strong interest in working on Government, homeland security, and/or law enforcement projects
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
  • Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred)
  • Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum required
  • Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, flexibility, learning-oriented, excited to engage
