Job Summary:
The Corporate Legal Department is looking for a Content Analyst, Knowledge Services to support Disney Legal in a content management capacity, with an emphasis on document management. The Content Analyst will be part of the Legal Knowledge Services team which provides best in class work product lifecycle management, collaboration, connection, and productivity solutions for Disney Legal.
To support Disney Legal’s Document Management System, NetDocuments, the company’s records management strategy, as well as the integration of document and records systems, the Content Analyst will be instrumental in ushering change within Disney Legal. At the direction of the Senior Manager of Knowledge Services and in coordination with the Senior Content Analyst, the Content Analyst will provide change management and process improvement to improve adoption of our systems, with the objective of empowering the department to understand, adopt and embrace the technology and processes provided by Knowledge Services.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Change Management and Promote Adoption
- Gather requirements and submit request tickets to onboard new teams to NetDocuments.
- Facilitate superuser groups to support ongoing user adoption.
- Present upcoming changes or current adoption to legal teams.
- Enhance and improve training curricula for DocuSign and NetDocuments.
- Analyze results of searches as well as metrics reports on document and records management system(s). usage and present recommendations for increased adoption.
- Answer user questions after they are onboarded to NetDocuments.
- Propose changes to improve training, engagement and adoption.
- Conduct DocuSign and NetDocuments training on a backup basis.
- Update training materials and Legal Insider (intranet) sites as needed.
- Promote document and records management compliance through education and training.
- As needed, consult with users to prepare their email and network folder documents for migration into NetDocuments, coordinating with Knowledge Services Technicians to drive to completion.
- Contribute to projects related to the Knowledge Services applications.
Manage Portfolio of Legal Knowledge and Content Management Systems
- Improve processes for all Knowledge Services to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Review, analyze and manage enhancements for NetDocuments, DocuSign, the DocuSign Integration, and Legal Insider.
- Gather and document requirements for enhancements from multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and conduct creative ways to overcome barriers to resolution.
- Elevate issues to management when appropriate.
- Identify and advocate for simple and friendly features and processes in document management (NetDocuments).
- Curate knowledge base for NetDocuments.
- Coordinate and test upgrades and changes to NetDocuments and other content systems as needed.
DocuSign Administration
- Oversee completion of DocuSign administrative tasks by other team members.
- Report on DocuSign enhancements and changes, assess for user impact and communicate and or train appropriately.
- Manage DocuSign integration enhancements and drive to completion.
- Curate knowledge base for DocuSign.
- Lead DocuSign related project meetings, including the creation of agenda, facilitation, and determining next steps. Follow through on next steps.
- Identify and propose process improvements to streamline DocuSign workflow.
Records Management
- Identify and propose process improvements to streamline workflow.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvements to records management processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited institution.
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a law firm or legal department.
