We build integrated data systems and design applications that make these spatial data available and useful to government and business.
This role is intended to be Hybrid with occasional commute to our Boston, MA office.

The Content Marketing Specialist will lead visual design and content creation. In this role, you will design, pitch, collaborate, and create inspiring content that tells our story, promotes our capabilities and work, aligns with the company's business goals, and enhances the customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the visual marketing strategy to create a premium brand.
- Ensure SEO and SMO strategies are implemented and ensure consistent brand identity and maintain standards for all marketing materials.
- Generate new ideas and develop content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and align marketing materials with brand strategy to meet products and sales teams goals and business objectives.
- Identify, qualify, direct and foster relationships with external graphic designers and content creators as needed to create new brand content.
- Oversee the content editorial calendar to ensure campaigns come to life on time and with measurable results.
- Stay up to date on marketing within the broader geospatial industry.
- Research and track content and consumer trends, marketing techniques, technologies, and best practices to generate reports and presentations and ensure content is relevant and appealing.
- Design and create graphic, video, digital and print marketing materials, including Logos, Webpages, Whitepapers, Documents, Handouts, Slide Decks, Social Media Posts, Videos, Banner Stands, etc.
- Create high quality webinar recordings and short videos for The Mapping Channel (company YouTube video library).
- Coordinating with the marketing, design, and writing teams generate ideas, report on progress, define content goals, and timely meet delivery of assignments.
- Catalog a well-organized library of visual assets - images, recordings, photos, videos, logos, templates, etc.
- Interface with staff across the company to onboard requests and develop marketing materials for presentations, events, campaigns, etc.
- Proofreading and editing content before publishing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to create and edit videos, and work with recorded materials.
- Abilities in graphic design for digital or printed materials
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, subject matter experts, and others to develop ideas that translate to marketing content
- Ability to interface with external graphic designers and content creators
- Ability to conceive and ensure a cohesive and consistent visual identity
- Ability to catalog company marketing asset (files, videos) libraries
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and best practices in the creative/marketing/design/communication fields
- Very proficient with relevant platforms, tools, and technologies: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with slide design in PowerPoint and Microsoft tools
Experience:
A significant plus is experience or familiarity with maps, GIS software, or the geospatial industry in general. Creative work at an agency or on a corporate marketing team is a significant plus.
- 2-3 years experience creating and coordinating visual marketing content
- Training courses in graphic design, video creation and editing, web design
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe, Adobe-Sign, digital signature system.
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Full-Time Salary Range $50,000 - $70,000
Additional Requirements:
