The Content Writer is responsible for creating clear, concise, and readable content for Mister Car Wash, including corporate communications, operating procedures, training and technical documents, reference guides, video scripts and storyboards, and more. In partnership with the Senior Manager of Internal Communications, the Content Writer ensures documents speak with a consistent “Mister Voice”. While based in the Operations Department, this individual serves as an invaluable resource for all Mister Car Wash departments and employees.

What you would do

• Produce polished, well-researched content for Mister Connect, Mister Car Wash’s company intranet
• Create a wide variety of technical documents for HQ and field team members, from procedures to policies and everything in between
• Work with subject-matter experts from all HQ departments and conduct online and field research to gather data, verify facts and information, and resolve questions
• Translate complex topics into accessible, easy-to-understand language
• Revise and update content as needed to keep pace with the company’s rapid growth and evolution
• Ensure all writing conforms to Mister Car Wash’s Internal Communications style guide

How you will shine

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field
• Proven record of excellent writing
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships, ask relevant questions, and seek clarification when needed
• Able to track and execute multiple projects with limited direction
• Relentless attention to detail coupled with the ability to maintain focus on the big picture
• Proficient in time management and able to meet competing deadlines
• Commitment to customer service and quality
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office
• Experience working with writing style guides
