We are currently looking for a full-time Cook. The Cook is responsible for preparing, wholesome, attractive, food for service to guests. Cook also takes requests from guests for made-to-order food items.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Preps, cooks and presents food for service.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Assists Sous-chef in preparation of menu items.
- Maintains acceptable waste levels.
- Utilizes food product in timely fashion.
- Greets customers on line and attend to their needs.
- Maintains sanitation guidelines.
- Presents professional appearance.
- Assists other FBO outlets as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the position include:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year previous experience in related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with students, faculty, and staff face to face and via the telephone.
- Must be able to use all equipment found in typical, professional kitchen.
- Must be able to report to work on time, and in presentable Sullivan uniform.
