Convergent Law is a minority and women-owned law firm with expertise in the fields of tax, redevelopment and structured finance, located in New York & New Jersey. We are looking to hire a creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, social media and our company website. Your words will inform, engage, and convert target audiences.

Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

Job duties

• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with the marketing director and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
• Conduct high-quality research
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing in marketing or advertising, web, product, brand messaging and promotional copy
• Experience in an environment working with marketing, advertising or PR campaigns, print and social media preferred
• Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with others, as well as independently and autonomously

This is a remote job with flexibility, you can work from home or anywhere that's comfortable to you, on your own time but with deadlines.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
