Niantic's Legal Team is seeking a Corporate and Commercial Program Manager to help increase the Legal Team's effectiveness as we scale our augmented reality games and platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to work with cross-functional partners and who enjoys the challenge of making things run very well. This is a generalist role that involves supporting a broad range of issues, including legal operations; commercial, corporate and employment practices; and vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage legal department technology solutions and related processes, including:
  • Contract Management (Ironclad).
  • Billing (SimpleLegal).
  • Document Management (Google Drive).
  • Intranet/Knowledge Management (Confluence).
  • Identify and drive strategic opportunities to streamline existing processes and workflows (e-billing, electronic signatures, managing form templates and playbooks, etc.).
  • Manage external legal vendors, including development of cost and performance related KPIs and cost-efficient billing processes.
  • Manage self-service tools, reference documents and training programs for internal clients; create and implement new tools on an as-needed basis.
  • Triage or complete incoming internal legal requests with support from counsel; track various metrics and provide administrative support to commercial, corporate and employment counsel.
  • Maintain library of legal handbooks and policies.
  • Support cross-functional team responsible for international corporate compliance; manage corporate compliance calendar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to cultivate strong working relationships with project team members, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.

Qualifications

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of experience with legal project management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as organizational skills.
  • Effective, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • You love expanding your skill set, and you can prioritize and efficiently project manage in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • You have the judgment and experience to spot issues and work independently, and to consult with others as necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $107,000 - $124,950 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
