The Corporate Sales Representative plays an integral part in the growth and development of Brightway’s Inside Sales team. In this role you are focused on generating and positioning growth for internal leads to expand the business. Will work closely with customers to identify products and services from our 100+ carrier partners that meet their needs, while also ensuring sales and offerings comply with carrier, sales center and state regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for successful sales results from leads created or generated internally
• Responsive and timely follow-up to customer inquiries with the goal of finalizing and/or retaining the business with the incumbent carrier and Brightway Respond and follow up on emails and other correspondence
• Recommends solutions and provides product options to meet customer needs, including increased coverage and cross sales/ account rounding.
• Provides explanation of quotes to the customer
• Sells Personal Lines insurance via telephone, internet, and email with a focus on rounding out existing accounts Documents activities and follow up in appropriate systems in a timely manner with detailed notes and precise accuracy
• May handle customer walk-ins

Education and Experience

This position requires a high school diploma, although a college degree is preferred, as well as 2-4 years of relevant sales experience in the insurance industry.

• 220 and/20-44 insurance license required
