JOB SUMMARY

Performs daily cashiering responsibilities and ensures successful and accurate posting of cash entries. Ensures the daily revenue posts successfully, corrects errors as needed. Prepares miscellaneous revenue entries for posting and also prepares journal entries. Sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Professional in work, style and appearance with high integrity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

2+ years of experience in an accounting, payroll or benefits administrative position, hotel, or property management experience a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office: intermediate level Excel skills, basic Word and Office skills, experience in Sage 100 or similar accounting software

Strong data entry skills, efficient and detailed oriented

Ability to take direction from multiple sources.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, speak, hear, reach, bend over, stoop, use hands, use fingers, write, see, feel objects, handle paper, wires, pens, boxes, and occasionally kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
