Counselor Aides

***4 positions***

1 Union and 2 Essex Counties, 1 Middlesex, NJ

Salary: $14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Responsible for transportation
• Case management and motivational support on behalf of the client
• Driving clients in agency vehicles
• Urine drug screening
• Various additional assistance as needed to aid the Substance Abuse Counselor

Requirements

• High level of sensitivity and communication skills along with the ability to be flexible in tasks and instruction
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be flexible
• Able to work independently
• Ability to multi-task
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a diverse fast paced environment

• Must have a HS degree or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.

• Bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish/English).
