Wish You Well is a small, socially conscious bakery in downtown Lancaster serving bagels, baked goods, and sandwiches. We offer $15 per hour, free shift meals, and an employee discount.

Our baked goods are made in-house from scratch incorporating locally-milled flour and a methodical approach, and we offer items that are seasonal, nostalgic, and inspired by our experience working with various international cuisines.

Counter Person

Part-time, 7:30am - 3:00pm *weekend availability required

As a Counter Person at Wish You Well, your job is to:

• Set up counter station, condiment bar, and seating area for service
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our baked goods and sandwich menu
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner; answer any questions guests may have
• Take orders and carefully package baked goods
• Ring up guests on our Square POS
• Serve coffee, tea, and bottled beverages
• Brew hot coffee as needed
• Keep packaging materials stocked and assist with box folding and stamping as needed
• Maintain station cleanliness and assist with other cleanup and dishwashing as needed

Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Cash handling experience is preferred
• Experience with Square POS is a plus
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Candidates under the age of 18 will be considered (but must have a work permit)
