Role Summary:

The Creative & Design Manager is responsible for the creation of visual communications within Bridgetown's brand and style, seamlessly blending form and function. This position will participate in the creative process, contribute graphic design work from concept to final publication, and assist each church department in their design needs.

This position will contribute to the development of creative concepts, production, and execution of broader communication campaigns including but not limited to video direction, photography, website development, email, and social media assets.

This position is committed to the professional development of their creative and design skills as each project requires.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Design graphics across all platforms, digital and print
• Design and develop our website
• Managing and assessing UI / UX
• Design and development of email campaigns
• Overseeing Print
• Production of Photography & Photo Editing
• Production of Videography & Video Editing
• Understand and adhere to all Bridgetown policies and procedures as established by our board and elders

Additional Job Functions & Qualifications:

• Collaborate with the Communications Manager to create high-quality, thoughtful, and authentic content
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of HTML, CSS
• Experience with Final Cut and/or Premier Pro
• Demonstrate time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• An inherent desire to achieve exceptional results
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Track creative industry standards and practices

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in creative work
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant study

Physical Requirements:

• Sit: Sit frequently
• Stand: Stand occasionally, punctuated by opportunity to sit at short, varying intervals
• Walk: Walk level surfaces frequently
• Climb: Walk stairs on an occasional basis
• Hand Dexterity: Frequent requirement for hand dexterity for computer and telephone usage, as well as writing.
• Sensory/Vision: Must be able to read clearly with or without corrective lenses.
• Hearing: Must be able to hear
• Speech/Language: Must have strong command of the English language and be able to be clearly understood when speaking.
