Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This position is bargained as a dual role host/hostess and cashier. They greet guests as they enter the buffet, determine what comps and awards they have to utilize and conduct the payment transaction through the POS system. They are also responsible for assisting guests to tables after they have completed their payment. Finally, they are responsible for saying goodbye and addressing any guest needs as they leave out buffet.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet guests when they enter the buffet
• Determine what comps, points or awards guests have and finally complete the payment transaction through the POS system.
• Thank guests as they exit the buffet and assist with any final guest needs or questions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area to include the cashier box, dining room and service stations. Determine the size of the party and any special needs for seating, work with their team to locate and assist guests to their seating/table.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Ohio Lottery Commission (OLC) Non-Gaming License
