Banyan Botanicals is seeking a Creative Services Manager to join our highly collaborative and inspired creative team within the marketing department. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills and a passion for Ayurveda, herbs, and wellness. This individual will work closely with the Brand Marketing Director to align on project goals and objectives, and then bring the project to life by drafting clear briefs, organizing tasks and timelines, sharing updates with stakeholders, and keeping our in-house creative team inspired and supported to create high quality assets and execute campaigns. A master communicator with a keen eye, the ideal candidate provides clear and collaborative feedback, and knows how to jump in to help with production when needed.

This role is responsible for the execution of content and brand creative projects from beginning to end including web content, printed marketing materials, advertising collateral, campaign assets, and packaging design. They succeed by providing clear direction, impeccable organization, and timely feedback on assignments, while assigning daily, weekly, and monthly technical and creative tasks that support keeping the content release schedule on track.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Manages the execution of a wide range of creative and e-commerce projects from conception to completion

• Works with Marketing leadership and stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives

• Fields all cross-departmental creative requests for web, print, and digital assets

• Works closely with our creative team of designers, copywriters, photographers, and developers to create high quality assets and execute campaigns

• Provides clear direction, impeccable organization, and timely feedback on assignments, while overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly technical and creative tasks that keep the marketing calendar on track

• Maintains a keen understanding of web development practices with a strong sense of how users view and interact with digital media and the level of effort needed to turn a visual concept into a functional application

• Maintains an intimate understanding of brand standards and styles, providing edits and feedback when needed to ensure all deliverables remain on brand

• Crafts clear and organized campaign briefs that relate to product marketing, promotional strategy, content and partnerships, and wellness education

• Understands how to translate business KPIs into actionables that lead to annual and quarterly goals

• Other duties as assigned

• Communication skills: the person in this position regularly converses with co-workers and must express oneself and exchange information with clear direction and respect.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a marketing or creative position, agency or in house
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in e-commerce preferred

• Experience in herbal supplement or wellness industry preferred

Physical Requirements (not limited to)

• 
  The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access, transport and position file cabinets, office machinery and items up to 25lbs.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer, mouse, keyboard, printer, fax, scanner, calculator, and copy machine.

• Mostly sedentary position, however, must be able to move, traverse, ascend/descend, and position self to access office equipment.

• Must be able to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, communicate with team members and exchange accurate information with or without accommodation.
• 
  Must be able to work around moderate noise level.

Commitment

• This is a full-time position located in Ashland, Oregon, with the option to be fully remote.

Compensation

• Salary is commensurate with the delineated duties and the candidate’s experience and ability.
