Assists Credential Lead in the following:
This position is responsible for the organization, coordination and supervision of the credentialing activities of the Medical Staff of Grande Ronde Hospital in accordance with current federal and state laws, JCAHO standards, and medical staff bylaws (Policies for the Professional Staff, Rules and Regulations for the Professional Staff, and Discipline and Fair Hearing Plan for the Professional Staff). This position is also responsible for the organization and coordination of Professional Staff meetings and committees. This position will supervise all credentialing staff and externally contracted personnel. In addition, this position shall arrange or provide back-up to the Medical Staff Coordinator position.
