Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

This position will provide a range of crisis assessments, outreach and management services to individuals, families and others in the communities served by Aspire. Responsibilities include provision of peer support, skills training, connection to community resources, home and community-based interventions, and maintaining communication with referral sources.

Education/Experience/Requirements
  • High School Diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education highly preferred. One (1) year of related experience required if no Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Must self-identify as a current or former recipient of services and be maintaining a healthy recovery from mental illness and/or substance use. Basic knowledge of the Recovery Model highly preferred
  • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization. Must have reliable transportation to transport self/others and to travel to other sites for trainings and/or meetings
