Customer Service Representative I

The role
Provide
Best in Class Customer Service to both internal and external customers through exceptional communication skills. A Customer Service Representative’s (CSR) primary responsibility will be guided by all inquiries received via our main contact line, to include order intake and processing, status inquiries, document retrieval requests and all information requests in general. They will provide intake on any Order Fulfillment issues including order and shipping errors. The CSR brings an action to customers’ needs by following established guidelines and standard work practices. Reports to Customer Service Lead
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- 85% Weekly* – Provides first-line support for internal and external customer’s via phone. Support includes order fulfillment, supply chain related issues, clarifying information, researching and providing prompt and optimal solutions. In doing so, the CSR must comply with standard work practices to ensure professional and consistent service in support of department metrics. CSRs will manage and utilize relevant software, databases, scripts and tools to provide acceptable service to customers.
- 10% Weekly* – Provide back-up Account or Process Management based on individual desk requirement.
- 5% Weekly. Other tasks as assigned by Leadership.
Your qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 Years of Experience Customer Service
- 3-5 Years of Relevant Work Experience
Preferred:
- Associates Degree
Applications:
- Basic Microsoft Suite Competency (Outlook, Word, Power Point)
- Previous SAP experience or other Order Management Systems a plus but not necessary
- Salesforce.com knowledge a plus but not necessary
