Customer Service Specialist - Quartzsite
Job description
This position will be the primary contact for VLS clients and transporters to schedule inbound deliveries to our facility. Daily functions include managing all schedule requests, maintaining, and monitoring the site?s daily schedule, data entry of delivery details, review of inbound shipping documents, sourcing transportation for client?s inbound deliveries, preparing shipping documents and organizing outbound loads. To be successful in this role the candidates should be organized coordinator who communicates effectively with the site manager and staff, sales, clients, and transporters.
Responsibilities:
- Primary contact for initiating schedule of inbound/outbound loads.
- Report and record discrepancies as required.
- Effectively interact with sales, clients, truck drivers, plant operators and office staff.
- Analyze and prepare summaries, reports and documents needed for individual waste streams and drivers.
- Creates schedule and prioritizes job orders for plant processing and operation optimization.
- Follow up with all stakeholders to expedite the inbound flow of materials and documents to meet plant floor schedule, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
- Receive and process client scheduling requests via telephone, email, or fax.
- Improving quality results by evaluating processes; recommending changes.
- Work closely with facility personnel to ensure clients follow delivery guidelines and requirements and contact clients with any issues or irregularities.
- Prepare Non- Hazardous labels, manifest, and other required paperwork that must accompany each load.
- Solicit transportation and service requests for customers delivering within the United States.
- Basic knowledge of financial tasks to assist accounting functions if needed.
- Any other duties assigned by manager.
