The Customer Service Supervisor manages the CSR team which is responsible for communicating with all customers about business needs such as pricing, lead times, new order entry, new products information, application, and engineering support etc related to off-highway products. The Customer Service Supervisor helps his/her team to support the Sales Mgrs./ KAM by handling various sales and administrative activities as reported here below; in addition, along with his/ her team, he/ she directly manages some “house” accounts.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Management of 3 Customer Service Representatives and support in case of escalation

  • Oversee customer’s inquiries and RFQ’s; if necessary, work together with the Sales Mgrs./ KAM, Application Engineering and Controlling/ Marketing to gather all relevant product’s information to issue a technical – commercial proposal

  • Support Sales Mgrs./ KAM in chasing customers over dues when escalation is required; work with Finance on shipments to customers who have exceeded their credit limit

  • Support Sales Mgrs./ KAM in communication both with the customers and internal ZF (Logistics/ Operations/ Quality/ Service/ Controlling/ RGA etc.) in case of need

  • Provide the Sales Mgrs./ KAM and Head IA NA with some relevant historical sales data as needed, along his/ her team

  • Regularly communicate with the customers about commercial topics

  • Manage some “house” accounts independently regarding pricing, delivery, quality, orders, etc.

  • Supporting other functional areas to ensure customer requirements are met


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration preferred

  • 7+ years’ experience in Sales and Customer Service related positions

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Ability to solve issues independently and escalate when necessary

  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office applications and SAP experience preferred

  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams
