Job Description – Customer Service

This full-time position is based in Los Angeles and you will be supporting direct to consumers on behalf of one of the trailblazers in the IoT home. You will report directly to the C-Team and be an integral part of the Global Customer support team, responsible for managing all technical problems and projects both in LA and Globally. It is pivotal that the successful applicant is happy to work directly with our valued customers to provide best in class customer support that the business and you can be proud of.

Duties

• Provide excellent customer service
• Work with customers through both email and chat support to gather and troubleshoot issues
• Identify common issues, escalating them to engineering
• Writing step-by-step processes, technical solutions, and ticket updates to customers using clear and concise English.
• Expertly communicate and document solutions to develop our technical support knowledge base.

Requirements

Experience/Qualifications

• Professional experience in a similar role.
• An aptitude for acquiring skills in technical repairs and an eagerness to learn about all Meater products and devices.
• Excellent prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven high levels of customer service
• Experience providing mobile and application support
• Proven success working in team environments, you will be able to demonstrate shared responsibility with other team members.
• Willingness to show flexibility with your schedule; at peak times some variation might be required to ensure we provide the best support to our customers.
• Knowledge of Zendesk is not key but would be beneficial.
