The Role
You will be responsible for collection and aggregation of client data as it relates to customers’ compliance projects. You will utilize industry standard computer skills, data transformation tools, and data management applications to create, configure, maintain, and enhance client data. You will work closely with our software development team to improve our ACA delivery.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with HR/Payroll data and systems and will have a familiarity with common issues around data transformation. The Job
· Consistently follow guidelines to load data into BenefitScape proprietary software application; adhere to our defined data governance protocols
· Access, validate, standardize, and warehouse incoming client data in all forms
· Partner with internal teams and customers to ensure project deliverables are met
· Analyze and critically think about data issues, then develop and execute a plan to resolve them
· Facilitate in-depth data discussions with clients, client selected vendors, and internal team members
· Remain up to date on industry tools and best practices related to data management
· Act as a self-starter; prioritize work based on guidance from team lead
· Proactively provide status related to project deliverables
The Skills You Bring
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills
· Experience working with large data sets
· Aware of Data formats such as CSV, XLS, XML and JSON
· Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
· Strong data acquisition, staging and validation techniques
· Knowledge of data preservation, integrity, traceability, and transparency concepts
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience within HRIS/Benefits/Payroll industry; emphasis on working with healthcare membership and enrollment data
· Strong team collaboration skills
· Adept at collecting and documenting data requirements
· Ability to self-direct, work, and lead, with minimal supervision
· Knowledge of Python, Java is a plus but not mandatory
· Knowledge of “Feature Manipulation Engine” by Safe Software or similar is a plus
