- Subject Matter Expertise in Market data like Quotes L1 &L 2, Prices and Volume, Reported sales used across asset classes is a must.
- Experience working with known Market Data vendors like Reuters, Bloomberg etc is required.
- 10+ years of business data analysis experience in large ecosystem across project lifecycle. Any applications development experience will be a plus.
- Excellent documentation, analytical and process-based skills to produce process flow diagrams, business modelling, and functional design.
- Front, Middle and Back Office exposure, if any, is required
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is required
- Exceptional skills on Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Project, Visio, PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, collaboration and presentation skills are required to be successful in this role
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Sound and comprehensive communication skills to exchange complex information
- Self-motivation, organization and prioritization skills to meet deadlines as per business priorities
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Financial Services experience as well as a deep background in dealing with Market data across asset classes like Equities, Rates, and FX etc. Experience implementing of Market data solutions and working with known Market Data vendors like Reuters, Bloomberg etc. is required. Kafka and Hadoop knowledge is a huge plus. The candidate will work closely with the product owner, other Business Analysts, Internal technology teams, and core developers and QA team. Experience in Project Management, program governance, coordination with multiple teams and managing the stakeholder expectations. Manage the book of work of the HCL resources onsite and offshore and bring value addition in terms of effort optimizations and risk mitigation
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse Market data requirements for a given asset class and identify relevant data sources.
- Document Market data on-boarding specifications and coordinate delivery of the same with technology team.
- Work with Market data consumer applications to define and document their requirements.
- Understand problem definitions and perform in-depth data analysis to find solutions.
- Work with the stakeholders to understand and gather requirements and produce business specifications, functional design and associated documentation.
- Validate solution implementations and ensure they meet business and functional requirements.
- Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting Clients Project Management Standards
- Ensure the business reporting needs are met with the most elegant and timely technology solutions
- Ensure proper development life cycle is followed with artefacts to support Internal Audit and any inquiries
- Provide go-live support, and investigation of issues.
- Work with various technology leads to ensure the gaps in the data completeness or accuracy are bridged.
