Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

The role of the Data Analyst is to support data modelling activities as directed by the Lead Data Modeler. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for

• Analyzing source system documentation to draft a target data dictionary, identify data patterns (real time, intraday, batch)
• Developing target state data flow and process flow diagrams that will all serve as the primary inputs for modeling the data
• Developing the data modeling inputs in the appropriate context.
• Making specific updates to the data models primarily in terms of data object names and definitions.

The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Baton Rouge, LA center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time post-covid. This position requires relocation to Louisiana within 30 days of the office reopening. No remote opportunities exist.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1+ year(s) of experience with MS Power Platforms specifically Power Apps, Power Automate, & Power BI
• Exposure to MS SharePoint structure and governance
• Exposure to MS Teams, MS OneNote, & MS Lists

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Snowflake Pro; Azure and/or AWS.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
