Due to this growth, we are looking for a highly capable Data Engineer to develop and enforce policies for effective data management in order to increase productivity by ensuring that company IT systems run efficiently. The goal is to create value for Polk Nation; leveraging technology to enhance operational success.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and enforce policies for effective data management
• Improve and maintain any ETL processes
• Improve and maintain all data integrations
• Develop and maintain data archival processes
• Provide advice on data classification tools
• Coordinate with consultants to provide Power BI and SSRS reports for the new ERP platform
• Ensure that custom development follows proper Data Quality Analysis processes
• Work directly with the IT Director and provide advice regarding unnecessary technical debt
• Consult with the IT Director regarding data access control, privacy, confidentiality and security
• Oversee current ERP Integrations
• Assist in any data loading and reporting projects for a new ERP implementation
• Work with functional teams to understand all User Acceptance Testing and assist with the development of automated UAT procedures

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years experience in ERP data management and data warehouse development
• 3+ years experience designing, deploying and maintaining ETL pipelines using Boomi
• Demonstrated desire to understand the organization s core business processes and operational procedures
• Working knowledge of SSRS Reporting
• Working knowledge of Oracle Databases, SQL, PL/SQL
• Ability to work directly with functional stakeholders to gather requirements, suggest possible solutions and communicate project status for scheduled changes
• Experience using source code management tools
• Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts
• Experience working with git source code management (preferred)
• Experience using IFS Business Analytics and IFS Report Designer (preferred)
• Exceptional analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required
• Exceptional listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Strong customer service orientation
