Job Summary

The Data Entry Specialist works directly with in-house staff as well as field staff to accurately capture all referrals sent through the Initiation Department. The Data entry Specialist is responsible for processing large amounts of data and accurately inputting the information into digital systems. This may include raw data, documents, forms, and other forms of information. The primary responsibilities of a high-volume data entry specialist include:

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

· Enter data accurately and quickly into a computer system or database.

· Sort and organize data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

· Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure data integrity and security.

· Communicate with team members and supervisors to clarify data requirements and deadlines.

· Maintain accurate records of all data entry tasks performed and progress made.

· Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

· Work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and handle large amounts of data.

· Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of data entry tasks.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Experience with HHAeXchange

· Experience in Home Health Care (1-2 years)

Qualifications and Requirements

· At least 18 years of age.

Functional Abilities

· Able to perceive and follow written instructions, verify, documents and log in information accurately.

· Able to perceive, convey, relay and clearly exchange and communicate information verbally, over the phone and in writing.

· Able to document information on software portal.

· Able to perceive and follow written instructions and accurately log in data.

· Able to verify accuracy of written materials, documents, log in and clearly communicate information.

· Able to remain in a sedentary position for prolonged periods of time.

· Able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

· Able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
