Job description
Primary Responsibilities:
- The candidate must foster a diverse team environment by demonstrating understanding of factory metrics/goals (People, Operation Excellence, Cost and Strategic goals) and lead the decision making process between manufacturing, maintenance and engineering.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude for leadership within the AREA and SHIFT team, while mentoring and managing the performance of those that work directly for the supervisor.
- Technical knowledge and line balance methodology, Preventative Maintenance Planning is preferred.
- Responsibilities include meeting goals for productivity, planning out technical training deficiencies for better availability performance, developing technical training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
- Enforce and ensure compliance of production procedures and safety are complied with.
- Ensure that Standard Work and 5S is maintained at all times for the maintenance technicians.
- Maintain the ability to manage the Equipment Maintenance Tech Resources to meet Factory Metrics.
- Improving the Tool Performance by effective Preventative Maintenance Scheduling and recovering tools by getting the Root Cause fixes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in Management, Operations, Engineering (to include Manufacturing or Industrial) with emphasis in manufacturing/operations or process improvements
- Previous management experience in jobs related to production will be considered for this position or have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in semiconductors
- Must demonstrate effective leadership abilities, cohesive team building and sound decision making
- Must display strong ethics and a desire to win mentality
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all disciplines and levels of management
- Excellent presentation skills are a plus
- Experience in Engineering and Maintenance; including some technical knowledge (preferred)
- Able to coordinate an array of emergency situations
- Have a strategic as well as tactical mindset
- Implementation/standardization of best known practices
