Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-4:00PM
Job Purpose: The Decoration Production Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s screenprint, heat transfer, and embroidery operations within the regional distribution center. This position will report to the US Decoration Sr. Director and/or Site-Leader and directly supervise a staff of up to 40 Associates working with Operators, Art, Customer service, Sales, Planning and Distribution staff within the customization facility. The purpose of this position is to provide skilled “on-the-floor” decision-making and production planning responsibility in the specific areas of screenprinting, heat transfer and embroidery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Production Planning and Execution of work for the Screenprinting, Heat transfer and Embroidery Department
- Supervises the production of customized orders on the shop floor. The process entails the acquisition of work orders; establishing screenprinting, heat transfer and embroidery routines according to the production schedule; monitoring employee efficiency and quality.
- Will provide the leadership and tactical decision making to ensure efficiency goals, quality levels, sustainability and service levels are achieved on a daily basis.
- Manages the quality control for the fulfillment process by ensuring that all packages are quality checked and products are verified before packing, and random package inspections are conducted on orders.
- Driving results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures, performs daily audits of production floor and equipment organization, and cleanliness proactively addresses housekeeping issues on the production floor.
- Skilled in a broad spectrum of garment/apparel decoration equipment and software to include: M&R equipment (e.g. Sprint dryers, I-Image ST, Stryker and Roland printers) Tajima single and multi-head embroidery machines, Wilcom digitizing software and heat presses.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email.
- Uses Infor M3 Smart Office to review, edit and complete customer orders.
- Uses ASB M3 ERP system review Production Schedule, Production Orders, monitor performance, ensure on-time completion by maintaining compliance to the schedule.
Minimum/Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Production leadership role preferred.
- Experience managing a high-volume Production Operation.
- Must demonstrate high energy and positivity
- Must have to be a collaborator and possess a team work mindset
- Exercises considerable judgement in working independently to meet objectives or take a project from inception to completion.
- Able to coordinate the work of several departments to meet goals and objectives.
- Experience leading a production team including hiring, training and motivating.
- Strong time management skills, ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience in performance metrics tracking and analysis.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Able to maintain composure in a high pressured environment
- Must have a good understanding of continuous improvement techniques.
- Warehouse Management Systems experience (Oracle, SAP, Infor M3) a plus.
- Knowledge of world-class manufacturing systems and procedures.
- Experience with MS office suite required.
- Strong math and computer skills; strong Excel skills are required.
- Spanish as second language a plus.
- Ability to work in a high volume/high stress environment.
