Location. Greenwood Village, Colorado.

This position will have a hybrid schedule – Training will be full time in office and then the Analyst can work 2 days a week in office, 3 remote.

A role you will love

As a Default Asset Resolution Analyst, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex default matters. You will be tasked with analysing a variety of situations involving foreclosure, bankruptcy, title and other high risk legal matters. In addition to reviewing mortgage documents, legal pleadings and associated business records, you will assess litigation strategies and options for resolution. This position works closely with in-house and outside counsel, company vendors, other departments and Default Management to achieve optimal resolutions for agency, securitized and whole loan clients.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Review and complete assessment of all matters assigned to your portfolio.
  • Ensure timely referral of legal matters to counsel.
  • Regular communication with counsel, senior management and clients.
  • Additional responsibilities include document collection, review and electronic storage, research, analysis, and other items as needed.
  • Maintain and update case management files with relevant information and documents.
  • Complete tasks including new file setup, fee and budget approval, invoice payment approval and other administrative tasks.
  • Document review and preparation including but not limited to affidavits, complaints, and discovery responses.
  • Assist counsel, corporate witnesses and mediation representatives.
  • Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

What we need from you

Required:

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.

Strong problem-solving ability, data collection, analysis, and presentation experience.

Ability to gather and analyze information and develop alternative solutions.

Strong communication skills.

Consistently demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

Education and Experience

Required:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

1+ years of mortgage servicing or high-risk experience preferred with an emphasis on default administration, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or REO.

Other financial services experience of an analytical nature or operations management experience may be applicable.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Training as a paralegal

Compensation. The base pay range for this role is $23.00 - $24.00 an hour. This base pay range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations.
