Job description

We are currently seeking hardworking deli team members that are reliable and possess excellent customer service skills. We are hiring Part time/Full time cashier and sandwich makers. There is a lot of opportunity for growth within the company!

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):
-Provide exceptional customer service.
-Take customers orders either in person or by phone.
-Prepare food items: sandwiches, slice deli meats, cheeses, produce, and bread.
-Stock and rotate products (FIFO), stock supplies and paper goods in a timely manner; keep all utensils, napkins, etc stocked.
-Be able to keep their workstation clean and sanitary.
-Washing dishes, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
-Preparing special orders or party trays.
-Ability to understand and utilize POS system (will train).
-Assisting in other duties as assigned by manager.

-Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Reliable, punctual, and committed to customer service.
-Able to follow instructions and established procedures.
-Possess excellent interpersonal skill and ability to communicate effectively with customers, other team members, and management.
-Able to communicate, read and comprehend instructions in English/basic math skills.
-Neat and clean in appearance.
-Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
-Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
Have or be able to acquire California Food Handler's card within 30 days upon hire.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Madera, CA 93637: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Basic math: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
