Delivery Driver for Amazon Delivery Service Partner

Compensation is paid WEEKLY.
We offer generous weekly, monthly and quarterly incentives based on performance and attendance. We also reward employee referrals. This job requires a positive attitude and willingness to work. It DOES NOT require a commercial driver's license (CDL) or use of a personal vehicle. We provide vehicles, gas, uniforms, and handheld technology.
We are hiring full-time positions. Full time drivers work four days per week. All drivers have a set weekly schedule with the ability to trade shifts with other drivers. We also offer opportunities to pick up shifts and earn overtime.
Starting pay for our shifts (with NO experience) is $18.75/hour.
No delivery experience required

Schedule does include one weekend day requirement

What does a full-time Delivery Associate do?

• Drives one of our Amazon-branded vans to deliver Amazon packages to homes, apartments, and businesses in the Greater Grand Rapids area.
• Full-time drivers work 4 days per week (40-hours) approximately 11am to 9:30pm with the opportunity to trade shifts with other drivers.
• Uses handheld technology that we provide to manage the delivery process.
• Arrive at our distribution facility by the required time to receive your van assignment. On call drivers will need to be available with little notice.
• Attend the beginning of shift stand up meeting discussing problems and issues for the day.
• Receive your route assignment and the company provided Smartphone/GPS device.
• Perform a Pre-trip vehicle inspection thoroughly checking the van for damage.
• Deliver up to 250+ packages on your route. (Smartphone/GPS device has the complete route pre-determined along with delivery estimates for each delivery). Possibly help another driver as directed.
• Return van to station after refueling van for the next day (company will provide a fuel card).
• Remove all trash & debris from van.
• Return Smartphone/GPS scanner device and keys; debrief with manager.
• Perform post trip inspection noting any required maintenance items

What are the basic requirements?

• Eligible to work in the U.S
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. We operate 7-days per week, 361 days per year.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license. No CDL required.
• Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50-pound boxes without assistance.
• Must be able to get in and out of the van frequently, lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch throughout a shift. This is a physical job that goes beyond driving.
• Must consent to a drug screening.
