Summary:

The Driver is responsible for delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials daily from one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies to customers, vendors and/or internally to other Sales Center locations.

Essential Duties/Accountabilities:

· Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry.

• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck; 24 months experience and/or CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states)
• Must possess a clean driving record:

• No more than one moving violation in any one year period.
• No more than one preventable accident in any two year period.
• No restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.

• Must be able to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
• Warehouse experience, including driving a forklift/appliance lift, is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with our Company.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

· Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $19.00 per hour
