The Demand Planning Manager will serve as the demand planning point of contact for assigned product categories, with responsibility of operational forecasting used as inventory and production planning inputs. You will own, shape, and refine your demand plans based on insights from key product, channel, marketing, and sales teams. Along with day-to-day operations, you will be supporting continuous improvement initiatives for automation/efficiency and establishing Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) for the end-to-end supply chain.

Key job responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end demand planning processes for assigned product categories
  • Own and communicate the demand plan, along with changes/exceptions therein, to stakeholders
  • Drive the forecasting of new product launches
  • Work to continuously improve key demand planning performance indicators such as (W)MAPE and Attainment
  • Support the Amazon Kitchen Instock & Demand Planning function on analytical deep dives

• MBA/Master's Degree • 5+ years of experience in demand planning/forecasting, operations/supply chain, retail, finance, with a history of driving/owning results • Demonstrates creative problem solving by adapting frameworks or existing best practices to solve problems in a unique way. • Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams • Strong proficiency in analytics tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL • Ability to influence and inspire action in others, regardless of organization reporting line Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
