We have an amazing work culture and we ensure our people have opportunities to advance and grow with our organization. Below are the listed responsibilities for our Hygienist:

Participates in practice marketing activities
Patient education of oral hygiene instruction and other dental related areas.
Reinforces treatment plan needs for patient
Performs charting on patient’s needs, presenting problem, medical and dental history, tooth charting, review social history, review health history each visit.
Review treatment recommendations with patients
Exposes, processes and evaluates developed radiographs
Manages patient hygiene regimen
Records oral conditions and findings in patient’s charts, updates tooth chart, work needed to be done, procedures performed, cost of procedures and recommendations needed for the patient
Inventories supplies related to area of work
Develop prevention program for patients.
Cleans hygiene room, sterilized instruments, and prepares hygiene room for patients
Attends office training and meetings along with continuing education classes as needed to maintain a full schedule of hygiene patients in a timely accurate friendly manner.
Reinforce patient hygiene and nutritional compliance.
Able to follow and apply established office policies and procedures
Capable of working effectively with dentist, staff members, and patients under varying conditions
Other duties are assigned.
