The Art & Design team at the Univision Network is looking for a Designer Animator to join our team!
In this position you will perform a variety of duties for the Network’s Marketing Division supporting the promotional needs of multiples shows airing on our Networks.
This position reports to the Sr. Designer and works closely with producers, planners, and other graphic designers to incorporate design assets into motion graphics and Pixel Power setups.
ABOUT YOU:
You have full understanding of the immediacy of the Broadcast Promotions work environment. You are technically savvy, with proficiency in Design and a passion for technology.
You are both a creative and technical problem-solver; a multi-tasker with the ability to work under pressure, while providing creative solutions that meet the needs of multiple shows.
YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
- Collaborate with Art Director / Senior Designer and other colleagues, to service marketing initiatives for multiple shows.
- Participate in creative processes and deliver innovative solutions for daily shows, launching campaigns, tentpoles, and special campaigns.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions to the creation of templates and Pixel Power shared services.
- Keep files and projects in order and up to date.
- Adhere to brand guidelines, while pushing creative boundaries
YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in designing with basic knowledge of technical environments.
- Ability to work pragmatically within a dynamic environment and rapidly develop ideas and creative requests without sacrificing quality whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of scripting and coding.
- Proficiency using industry software applications, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4d.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, templating setup, understanding of file formats, compatibility between types of equipment, and process with servers. Interest in video/audio/media/graphics processing, high-speed networking and/or high-performance computing.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule. In case of emergencies must be willing to work nights and weekends, as well as holidays.
- Fluent in Spanish (read and write)
