Job description
Busy manufacturing and engineering company has an opening for a Stamping Tool Designer. Remote position which will require 1-2 plant visits per year. Direct hire position with excellent benefits!
* Design new metal stamping tooling and fixtures
- Revisit existing tool designs
- Update existing tool drawings as needed
- Responsible for design file revision control
- Develop and procure RFQ’s for non-stock die components
- Solidworks proficiency required
- 5+ years of metal stamping tool design experience
- Knowledge of metal stamping tool and die standards
- Experience diagnosing tooling issues and failures
