We are a Fresno-based organization committed to ending homelessness in the central valley. As our Director of Affordable Housing, you will have a huge impact on how effectively we are able to do this.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be the leader on a team of PMs, Project Coordinators, analysts, and other team members helping to identifying potential sites for building and sources for funding for our affordable housing projects in the central valley. You will also be running point and working collaboratively with local officials, community groups, nonprofits, etc., to create plans for the efficient development of affordable housing. You'll be responsible for monitoring and managing all of the associated budgets and timelines, as well as the relationships with investors, lenders, local and state authorities, and other stakeholders. You'll do all of this while keeping your finger on the pulse of trends in affordable housing, including funding and best practices.
What You Need for this Position
At least 5 years of experience in:
Familiarity with:
- Affordable housing industry
- Multi-family developments
- Construction management
- Financing of affordable housing
- Project management
Familiarity with:
- Affordable Housing
- HUD
- Tax credits
- LIHTC
- CDBG
- FHLB
- AHP
- FHLB AHP
- HCD
