Spathe is currently searching for a
DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in the Tampa, FL area.
Spathe Systems is a rapidly growing SOF led, 8(a) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC and strategic partner locations in Virginia Beach and Coronado. - Work directly with the Software Engineering team providing best practices for DevSecOps practices.
- Work directly with the Product Owner, defining a set release schedule for the application.
- Integration of CaC authentication into establish application.
- Assisting with the integration of email notification and/or push notification using AWS services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with eSOF, cloud manager applications, domain controller authentication issues, and connectivity to the ESOF environment.
- Support on-site hands-on/computer-based training for Government personnel.
- Provide Operations support via the eSOF help desk.
- Support SOF AT&L in transferring eSOF updates across multiple classification levels, enabling low to high file transfers.
- Support for capability demonstrations as requested by the Government.
- Support and collaborate with tier II support teams on workload management, patch management, active directory management, onboarding, and any other troubleshooting as required.
- Provide artifacts for Application’s Authority to Operate (ATO)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar, or work experience in lieu of education
Experience
- Cloud operations, administration and engineering experience.
- 1+ years of Linux, Python, AWS, git experience
- 1+ years of experience in supporting DoD Software Engineering
- 1+ years of experience debugging (grepping logs, stack traces, tracking down permissions issues, etc…)
- 1+ years of experience using the Linux Command Line
CERTIFICATIONS
- Current DoD 8570 IAT or IAM level II or above
- Any AWS certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 1+ years experience in system/software solution development and delivery
- Experience working on Agile Software Teams
- Experience delivering big data solutions
- Experience with commercial or government cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Experience with DevOps (configuration management, application deployment, etc)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must possess a Secret Clearance
